Sustrans @ Discovery Day '14

Having ironed out and finalised details with Tony Jackson, event co-ordinator of the Grantham Canal Society, I can now confirm that we shall once again be attending the Grantham Canal Discovery Day at the Carpenter's Workshop to the rear of The Rutland Arms PH (Dirty Duck) at Woolshorpe-by-Belvoir.
The free event will be from 10- 5 on Sunday October 12 and we shall be based in the events marquee, as with last year our information table will giving out lots of maps, guides, information and a small range of items to sell such as bells, repair kits etc.
A call for volunteers between 9:30- 5, so please let me know if your able to don your trusty red Sustrans event tee shirt for sometime, however big or small you can give this will us man a successful stand as in previous years and our most recent event at the Wyndham Park 90th celebration event.
 

Bridge End Road Cycle Lane

Follow on from the works earlier in the year to replace the bridge on Bridge End Road LCC Highways have recently visited the area to apply road markings, as well as the normal road markings they have as applied an on road cycle lane which connects with the riverside cycle path to just after the Harrowby Road junction.

East Midlands Cyclists' Forum Meeting

This years East Midlands Cyclists' Forum meeting will be hosted by the Pedals group of Nottingham and start at 10:00 at the Trent Bridge Inn, West Bridgford and is open to all.

Aldi Cycling Offers, Thursday 25 October

This Thursday see's Aldi once again putting on offer cycling gear for both the bike and user.
