Festivol- Book Now for 2011

If you have never yet made it to Sustrans FestiVol, it is a long weekend, jam packed with led rides organised by local volunteers on and around the National Cycle Network. Volunteers are invited from across the country, so you will meet like minded people and share experiences.

There are only 130 places so book now to avoid disappointment.

Where:
We are delighted to be located at Green and Away an inspirational and environmentally sustainable village, on a farm in rural Worcestershire near the beautiful Malvern Hills. It is made up of a variety of meeting spaces and craft areas, as well as a yurt sitting room, coppiced-hazel dome bar and café circling the campfire and village green. The wind and sun provide the power for the site and all food is vegetarian, local and/or organic.

What’s going on:
Rides for all abilities The local volunteers are leading a programme of amazing , short, long, hilly, flat, fast and slow rides into the local countryside and to places of interest. Something for everyone.

Be entertained Live music, camp fire, circle dancing, music making, and the fabulous bar, The Rising Sunflower serves local ales and cider.
Remember your swimsuit A river runs by the site offering a perfect swimming spot.

Learn a new skill We’ll be offering bike maintenance, ride leader, signing training and more.

Sleeping:
Bring your tent or treat yourself to luxury accommodation in a furnished yurt or tent at an additional cost.

Getting there:
The nearest railway stations are Worcester Shrub Hill and Foregate Street- led rides will be organised from the station to the site.

The weekend cost of £85 includes:

Camping pitch

£10 parking fee for cars and camper vans (maximum 7 spaces)
