Gonerby Hill Foot Primary School Cycle Shelter

Today saw the unveiling of a new bicycle shelter at Gonerby Hill Foot Primary School, Grantham which has been installed with the help of our local Sustrans Bike It officer Jon Moody with funding from the Bike It scheme with support from Lincolnshire County Council.

Pupils and staff attended a Bike Breakfast along with Jon and Councillor Davies, a local member for Grantham and school governor who performed the ribbon cutting ceremony.

It's great to see such moves in the town from Jon and I'm sure the shelter will have much use with the traffic free cycle path on North Parade running down from Gonerby and up from Barrowby Road and from the connecting Running Furrows Gate.
